More like Meh-gaCon. Jon and I went last year. It's really just a big dealer's room with gaming. They usually have just 2 rooms for panels, and most of the guests don't do panels, just signatures. If you like costumes, you don't really have to buy a ticket; just go to the convention center and stand outside the enterance to the hall. And you can save $5 in parking if you park at one fo the parking garages and take the free shuttle.
