The prosecution has dropped half of the charges and downgraded the remaining from "making available for piracy" to "assisting making available". The prosecution claims that this is merely procedural and it will not affect the damages sought. From the first stories the Pirate Bay guys seemed downright arrogant about all this (I'd be sweating if I were being sued for $14 million and faced two years in jail even if I was certain of victory), but their arrogance now seems at least a little justified. I have no idea how Swedish copyright law works, but from what I've read so far it seems like they might just win again in court.
