It would be grerat.  I actually have a USB floppy drive I keep at work
because of all the different RAID and SCSI cards that aren't built into the
OS.  I have to say though Server 2008 has been great at recognizing all of
my RAID, and SCSI cards. I haven't come across one instance where I had to
insert a disk for updating the drivers to install the OS.  Have you tried
making a slipstream cd and incuding most of the drivers that you use
frequently?  I did that a while ago with nlite <http://www.nliteos.com/>.
It's pretty cool espicially if you have a xp sp1 disk you can slipstream sp3
pretty easily.  I think it works the same for server 2003 as well.
