...... I thought Reborn was an excellent read. Being a Lostie I appreciated the time traveling. I won't cast full judgement on this series until the last book goes to print.
I don't think there is a comaprison between Batman and CA. CA we actually saw die, we saw the body, we saw the gun, we saw seven views of Carter doing it etc. We knew it was only a matter of time till he made an appearance again. Supposedly Brubaker has written this whole event ages ago and for that matter I'd like to see the acutally notes with date and time stamps. That's another topic for a different day. Batman died how again? Well if you were following along in the RIP story arc he died from a helicopter crash and at the end Night Wing picks up his empty cowl, foreshadowing to the battle for the cowl. But if you read Final Crisis he dies trying to defeat Darkseid with some sort of magic bullet (in one page no less). Not much of a death for a great character in FC or Batman; It also makes absolutely NO sense to someone, like me, who reads only Batman and Detective comic books. With that being said I'd be intersted in seeing what happens with the Red Robin story where it seems Tim Drake is a world traveler and trying to find Bruce. -- JP "He is able who thinks he is able" Buddha "Keep moving Forward" On Mon, Jul 6, 2009 at 3:40 PM, Cary Preston <[email protected]> wrote: > Argh!
