I think Ron was only thinking the same way I was, as I had heard
internet rumors that the Thor movie story would focus on his life in
Asgard, shown as a "Lord of the Rings" style epic tale, with only the
end of the film having him banished to Earth for some great misdeed.
The more I thought about this idea, the more I liked it.... the focus
on Asgard would truly illustrate Thor's nobility & power (epic fights
with Trolls and Frost Giants, etc., his love for Sif, and comradery
with fellow warriors) then the sort-of suprise ending with him being
sent to modern-day Earth (Midgard) and seeing his reaction to such a
world, perhaps quickly dispatching some threat quickly, thereby saving
many people (maybe while doing so earning the admiration of a certain
nurse with care he shows for those he saves) and possibly garnering
the attention of a certain agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. recruiting for a
special group of "honorable warriors".

Andy

...and yes, I WOULD like Thor to have some sort of accent or manner of
speech that conveys his Asgardian upbringing, rather than have him
speak in plain English like all the ordinary "mortals".... maybe not
the comic-book over-the-top Shakespearian "thees and thous", but
something a bit more subtle.
