The Kindle is fairly responsive. I toyed with one for an afternoon; cool device but unless reading on an LCD gives you headaches why not invest that sum into a netbook or cheap laptop? The Kindle app has been ported over, and I'd rather have a multipurpose device instead of a unitasker.
