The second one sucked, the third one sucked only a little less, and the first one had that unmoving Goblin mask. Sucky franchise goes down the toilet. Spider-flush! Wish they weren't "rebooting" it so soon, seems foolish, but when new people continue old people's stuff, they wreck it. X-Men 3, etc. So...what should they do? I remember not wanting an origin story when I heard about Batman Begins, but I ended up liking it (mostly). So, maybe they get a fresh, young face, a Mary Jane you can believe is employed as a fashion model and a mask with lips. People will NEVER STOP seeing it, though. They can do whatever they want and retire.
