This genuinely surprises me, considering that there will be so many alternatives to the iPad (the iPhone really didn't have a direct competitor, various Blackberry models offered too different an experience). There are literally dozens of other tablets coming out, and the iPod touch would seem to be the same thing just with a smaller screen.
