If you've got a Mac as your media PC, I can't praise the Rowmote Plus for
the iPhone/iPod touch enough. It offers dual modes- a Mac Remote-style
interface, and a laptop-style track pad complete with a 'hideable' soft
keyboard that you're used to on the device.
