I can tell you that if the Kindle was $100 to $150 cheaper I would buy one in a heartbeat. I'm looking to get rid of all my books to save space and having something like the Kindle for novels would be ideal for me. There was a rumor at one time, albeit a far-fetched rumor, that Amazon was going to run a deal that if you purchased their Amazon Prime account you would get a Kindle for free. I tried the Amazon Prime during a 30-day free trial period and it was awesome. I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon so that service would be awesome for me...if I had the spare $80 to spend on something like that right now. However, if that rumor becomes a fact then I'm buying.
