For some reason reading on a laptop just doesn't appeal (books or comics). Reading on a hand held device is fine, though. It's a decent experience; I would rather use my phone than tote around a paperback, but some books I'd rather keep in hardback. I do plan on checking out the iBooks store when they expand it to the phone, but the Kindle store will likely remain my primary source.

I know we have discussed this before and I believe Cary has mentioned this
but I want to bring up the topic again as a reminder.
If you are not aware, Amazon's Kindle app has become available for PC and Mac. Of course, it's also available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. What I never realized is how big Amazon's free book catalog is, most of them classics. I'm just a little upset that the app is not available on
Android devices...yet.
I recently downloaded the eReader app for my Droid and my netbook and
started reading Stephen King's Cell on both (http://bit.ly/9pPXKA) but I
have found that Amazon's ebook market is a little less expensive than
eReader so I plan to start using the Kindle app more, especially now that
I have browsed Amazon's free ebook catalog.
I know a majority of you will probably not be inclined to read books on
your computer but I wanted to point out to those that have a netbook
(Shag, I know, is one) that, as per my blog post from above, you can hold
your netbook like a hardback book for reading. Just a suggestion.
