Cary, Shag...I agree. This should fail. From a purely dollars and cents perspective there is no way in hell this makes a dime.
That being said, i would like to see this thing. I won't make a special trip to NYC to see it, but if there and i could get a ticket at a reasonable price, sure. Music by Bono and the bald guitar player, director J. Taymor, who made the Lion King one of the biggest shows ever on Broadway, a theater that is basically designed for tremendous stage performances...Lots of very cool things happening with the show. The one thing about this whole mess that makes me cringe...sadly...the SUBJECT MATTER!! Spider-Man is cool, but Broadway just seems like a strange/wrong medium for him.
