For you gamers out there, OnLive has a promotion by invitation only where you can get the first year free and then it's, like, $5 a month after the first year. I received my invitation Friday evening and tried it out. It's pretty neat with great potential but it still has a long way to go. I was running it on my gaming machine that is still pretty powerful and under a 13Mbps download speed and still saw some lag on the game demo I was playing (Splinter Cell). Excluding the lag, the game wasn't that clear either, it wasn't like playing it locally from my hard drive. Sign up for an Founding Members Program invitation and see for yourself.
