I remember he once entered our circle of werewolves and from his dread lips, he pronounced the words, "'Let's get supine, my lupines," and as one we were like, "No way! Voltaire!" and a sugar glider flew into the room, perched on his shoulder and squealed, "aaaaaand me, Dr. Pangloss." Voltaire was like, "Tush, noble Pangloss, others are not accustomed to your ways or to the pitch and timbre of your mammalian voice. Wait for me in the car," and the sugar glider was like, "Awwww, nuts. Ok, Volts," and Services recovered from his stupor (a stupor we all were in) to say, "Volts?" and there was general laughter, and Pangloss (PHD) was like, "Yeah, that's what we call him back in the city," and the wee beast again took flight. Voltaire betrayed no embarrassment but began conversation anew and with vigor. "Who is moderating this game," his voice like the bell of some profane cathedral, and answer was there none for shyness held sway over all. How to address him was the groupwonder, "Volts? Voltaire? Your eminence?"
