Except the Expendables isn't a comedy, and doesn't star anybody who's had a hit in the last decade. Just to be clear, insane casting aside, The Expendables isn't a parody of crappy action movies. It's a crappy action movie. It's impressive that they got just about every action star of a stature greater than Richard Norton to be in the film, but Stallone is clear he's playing it straight. -- "It happens sometimes.
