Having the dinner right before/during the costume contest is a win, since
that clears out a lot of the riffraff and makes it easier to get a table for
20 or whatever. I think the costume contest is on Sunday evening? If so, I
vote for then-it worked really well last year and doesn't really conflict
with anything.

I think we need to hold off on times and days until at least the interim
schedule comes out. The Mexican place is good for me though.

On Saturday and Sunday there are certain things of interest (that I
can't say just yet) that some folks might want to attend.

Personally, I am okay with a late night Thursday dinner (since most
folks are going to be there anyway) or Friday... Saturday and Sunday
(as I stated) are likely out for me. If you were going to miss one of
these 2 mystery events - Saturday would be the better one to miss I
would think.

As for where... While I LOVE Trader Vics - It can be expensive. The
"Mexican Place" was great and the Margaritas were inexpensive. I am
fine with either, but lean toward the less expensive option.

Dragon*Con for many of us. Everyone on the listserv is invited, and can
bring others (as long as they are cool people). We just need a solid count
in advance so we can request space at the restaurant. We'll stay in touch
via text messages/e-mail/Twitter on-site. We'll share all that information
as we get closer.

with either Saturday or Sunday night. Previously the NeedCoffee film fest
made Saturday unavailable, however, that doesn't appear to be a concern this
year. I'm not particular about the type of food. The mexican place last
year was fine, as was the restaurant in the Hyatt the year before.
