My dad had one of these while I was growing up.  Not sure if it was Sony, but he used it to record his band performances. My dad played lead guitar and lead singer in rock bands in the 60s.  Just weird when I think about him nowadays.

I remember my Dad had one of these when I was little. As I grew older he
let me play with it, recording myself talking and singing. I don't
remember what happened to it, if I broke it or if he got rid of it or if
it is still packed away.
It's scary that I remember that relic.
