In regard to Dug's question, interesting thought about the Eye of Harmony. It can simply be overlooked or retconned, but still good question.

I realized a while back that he may no longer be limited to 12 regenerations. That was an arbitrary limit placed by the Timelords. Rassilon didn't like the idea of immortality, remember the Five Doctors? With Gallifrey timelocked you could retcon away that limitation. Has there been any discussion as to how the tardis is functional without a link to the Eye of Harmony that's locked away in the timelock?
