And I wonder about whether there really is the fanbase. I remember reading a
post about a DragonCon attendee last year who went as Death. Relatively few
people recognized who she was dressed as, even at a gathering of people who
you'd think would be the hardcore fans. I just worry whether the CW can find
fans for a 20 year old story among their core audience who seem to be about
the same age as the Sandman series itself.
