The reason I like it so much is that even with the new powers, which I like quite a bit, this feels like Doomsday. This feels like the unstoppable killing machine that makes you crap your pants. It isn't a whole army of them showing up to fight Amazons or one showing to get curbed by a bunch of Kryptonians. The Outsiders issue, to me, felt exactly like the Justice League America issue that crossed over into the origin DOOMSDAY storyline. Steel was freaking amazing and let that character shine though once again they bring him out only to beat the snot out of him. But he was a hero and that was the important thing to me. Justice League was a mixed bag because it tried to focus on two storylines at once. Superman/Batman, though, holy crap that was great. The image of Supergirl coming back in her original colors was freaking awesome! I am so looking forward to reading Superboy #6.
