I totally agree with Luke.  Which might be a first.  ;)


Also, the general public is so obsessed with not being left out.  Keeping up with the Jones, and all that.  I imagine they feel if there is a 3D version and 2D version, they must be missing something if they go to the 2D version. Therefore they go for the "better" version, or at least that's how they perceive it.

Just my two cents.
