I'm not a fan of her acting, it seems very one note, but I think calling her trashy is buying too much into a very misogynist media machine. She's gone on record saying that she's aware that she's capitalizing on her looks, that she plays a vampy role as a career, has been in a (for Hollywood anyway) stable relationship for some years, got kicked off Transformers for being tired of just used as window dressing and calling Michael Bay's film style something most people agree with. I think she's a bright young woman who's a product of our culture, and is very successfully playing a role to manage her career, even if it's a role that ultimately feeds back into the dysfunctional machine that created it. I still don't see her as Batgirl, because I don't think she is a good enough actor, but I don't think it's fair to call her trashy, when the same criticisms are rarely thrown at male actors who have bad-boy reputations.
