I didn't hate it, but I felt kinda bored.  The movie never seemed to get going.  Maybe I'm too close to the source material, or maybe I'm too enamored with X-Men: First Class.

It wasn't a bad film.  It wasn't a bad Green Lantern film.  It just wasn't a GREAT movie.  I'd rather see X-Men: First Class or Thor again before watching Green Lantern again.

There were certainly nerd moments for me when I was thrilled.  Hearing Kilowog saying "Pozher", or seeing certain obscure Green Lanterns, etc.  Still, those didn't wow me enough to make it a great movie.

I will say the Green Lantern mask on Hal looked absolutely terrible.  I can't see how anyone in Hollywood allowed that mask to move forward.

I concur! I had SO MUCH fun at Green Lantern. Review to follow on G3.
