BTW, the BBC TV adaptation is better than the 1960's movie version. I do have to comment on the idea that 28 Days Later created the "rage-zombie". I just finished re-reading Stewart Farrar's 1980 novel "Omega". It's definitely more of a story about survival after civilization disappears than about "fightin' zombies". Almost all of the actual zombie stuff is "off-screen", but the descriptions we do get are very similar to the 28 Days Later ragers. Plus it's a novel where Wiccans and ham radio operators team up to save civilization, so what's not to love?
