i don't know that there will ever be a $0 piece of hardware, but i could
envison a time where you get a free e-reader with a 2 year 'subscription'
from a publishing house wher eyou get 'classics' for free and have to buy at
least X number of book in the contract time...like how those CD clubs used
to work...
