I loved my iPods dearly, back in the day, because having that huge storage capacity was great.
But my first one (iPod Photo, 40 GB I think, 2005) broke the first time I dropped it. My second, a 120 GB model w/ full video, still works fine-- but I literally haven't touched it from the moment I got my iPhone (despite its puny 16 GB) In July 2010. Having the ability to go out and bring stuff in (esp via 3G) really trumps having to pre-install everything. So, yeah-- it was great in its day, but so was the cassette tape and Atari. --Van Sent from my iPad -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Unique Geek" group.
