My take is that at this point it doesn't matter who shot first. Whenever we see the scene, we know Han shot first. We'll just have to explain that to the next generation of Star Wars fans.
Also: Is it weird that the version of Blade Runner I like was the extended VHS cut, which leaves in the narration but adds in only the extra violence from the Director's Cut?
