I started watching the show when "Rose" first aired on Sci-Fi Channel (back before the SyFy name even). My wife started watching with the early David Tennant episode with the werewolves in Victoria England. We watched right through until the end of Tennant's run; my wife got so mad that he was leaving that she said she didn't want to watch Matt Smith (also, he "looks too young.") I watched the first season of Matt Smith on my own; I've made some overtures of watching it with her but she doesn't seem all that interested, unfortunately, indicating that we are waaay off track in our watching of The Pretender on DVD to start a new series. I'm otherwise just way behind at this point between various tokusatsu shows I watch on my own (including Ultraman, GoGo Sentai Boukenger, Kamen Rider Wizard, and Ultraseven X) and not having a good source to stream them during my lunch break. At least she entertains the notion; for neither love nor money can I get her to watch Ultraman with me! :D
