Comcast would definitely do everything possible to fight this. For
example, I recently inquired about breaking up my Comcast bundle (home
phone, internet, cable) to get rid of the home phone. The explained the
details, but bottom line I wouldn't save a dime by dropping the phone. I
asked about dropping Cable also. There would be some savings if I dropped
phone and cable, but they'll jack up the internet expense pretty high.

Comcast is the biggest corporation I despise the most. Cell phone
companies are a distant second.
