Eh, the jury's out for me. I liked his reboot of Star Trek in an Elseworlds, Not-Actually-Star-Trek-But-An-Incredible-Simulation sort of way. But Star Wars as a property is better suited to his visual style than Star Trek. So it would be intriguing to see what he does with it, visually at least.
Honestly the script is the key here moreso than the visuals. It's going to look like Star Wars. But what kind of brain will it have? That's my concern.
