I don't like John Barrowman, but he is a major player on the show. The annoying woman who played River Song (whom I actually like even less than John Barrowman) is going to be on Arrow as well. I'm not a Green Arrow fan in the least (I'm a Hawkman fan after all) and the show is quite good. I cannot see the videos which you posted links for but IIRC Beware The Batman was going to feature Batgirl and Alfred as Batman's two main sidekicks, and it is going to be CG.
