Using the app is simple enough. You type in the name of the movie and it tells you if your choice is available on any of the streaming services. You can also search for television shows, and see if the movies are available on DVD / Blu-ray. Even better, you can set up reminders or push notifications to let you know when a movie is available. I have found that feature particularly useful when combined with my DirecTV app, so when I am away from home I can simply set up a movie to record. The app does provide data from some pay channels, like HBO and many of the other movie channels available on satellite and cable.
