Agreed on the simplistic interface. I loathe widgets in all forms; I just want my subscriptions presented in a clean,easy to navigate manner. Reader did this perfectly, and Mr Reader on iOS did a great job reproducing this interface on my iPad (with some added sharing functionality). I installed the Feedly browser plug in on my iMac, but tests have been a complete fail so far due to Feedly's server meltdown. The free version of NetVibes doesn't look like it'll cut it, and I'm loathe to pay that subscription for something I've never had to purchase before. I don't want to have to resort to using independent readers for mobile and desktop, but right now I don't see a better solution unless Feedly is able to step up.
