Heard a discussion (with our own Michael Bailey) that many shows that were canceled early are more fondly remembered because they didn't have time to go bad.
Using this series as an example, if Firefly had lasted seven seasons it would have probably eventually had a stinker season or two. Most shows do. Interesting thought.
