I always loved the idea that by presweetening cereal, kids would add less 
sugar to it.  I have a few spots on DVD with Andy Griffith (as Sheriff Andy 
Taylor) espousing that very principle.  In my house growing up, putting 
sugar on your cereal was a one way ticket to Beatsville, population: you.
