Robocop was and is one of the most influential movies of my life. I had the one sheet on my door growing up, and the DVD was one of the first I ever bought. So seeing it remade is difficult for me to be objective about. That having been said, this does look pretty good. It also looks like they are taking a different approach to at least one aspect of the original film, and that is Murphy's family, who seem to have an active role in this version. Whether this is an improvement or not remains to be seen. The large ED-209s (assumed) look like the military-grade ED-309s from Dynamite's short-lived Robocop comic book series.
