Not sure if any of you are aware but Google will be starting a service soon called Google Helpouts. Its a service primarily targeted to anyone who needs assistance using Google's Hangouts interface. You can get more information here:
http://helpouts.google.com I applied and have been accepted as a Helpouts Team Member to assist anyone who needs assistance primarily in the Computers & Electronics category. Before the service goes live it has been recommended by Google that I go through a practice run. I have been given one invitation code to anyone who may be willing to test this practice run of offering computer assistance via Helpouts. If anyone on this listserv is interested in helping in this practice run please email me separately. I will then reply with the code and instructions on what to do to initiate a Helpout.
