The article states Android but if you have the Google Search app in iOS it should work too. I can't try it right now on my wife's iPhone (Yes, I was kind enough to install the Google Search app on her iPhone and attempted to teach her how to use Google Now on her iPhone) since she is still sleep. I'll be trying it later.
