The legal implications alone make this a long shot... how will these drones pass muster with the FAA, for instance? And the PVP cartoon not withstanding, there is a lot of debate right now about the legality of shooting at drones above your property, whether being used for spying or otherwise, and where your property rights as a landowner end. These little buzzer drones will only exascerbate that situation. Dug hit the nail on the head, though: I was in a doctor's waiting room most of yesterday morning. The TV had on the ABC morning lineup, and each show (Today, Kelly & Michael, whatever the 10:00 one is) all mentioned the Amazon drone and had at least a snippet of the video. As an aside, I will never be able to accept Micheal Strahan as a daytime TV talk show host. He comes out there with Kelly Ripa and he's almost double her size in both height and width, it's just bizarre looking. Then they sit on their chairs and the framing of the shot is all wonky because he is so much higher up in the frame than she is. They need to put him in like a setee and let her have a barstool, or something. He'd be fine as a primetime or latenight host, behind a desk or something, but with a partner the whole thing falls apart visually. Also Kelly Ripa has cut her hair short and I am not sure what I feel about it.
