It is still absolutely amazing to me that the kid who played Tommy on Third Rock From the Sun has made it as big as he has. I have liked him in pretty much everything I have seen him in, and I can see him -- with ashen skin and ebony hair -- as Morpehus. He also has the chops to pull off the range of a very complex character. The first scene which jumps into my mind is when, in the first story, when Dream goes to Hell to retrieve his icons, which a demon had won fairly in a game of chance. After retrieving his icons, SPOILERS the triumverate who rules Hell -- Satan, Bezelbub, and Lucifer -- refuse to let him leave, knowing that holding an Endless prisoner is a rare opportunity. So Dream plays their bluff -- he'll stay, but he will stop every soul from ever dreaming of salvation, since without that, Hell is meaningless as the damned cannot suffer without hope. I can totally see JGL nailing that scene with a cold, almost cruel arrogance. Now... who can play Death? Because we all know she will be in there. As for other cast members, I'd vote for Holliday Grainger as Delirium. She just had a heck of a star tun as Bonnie Parker in the Bonnie & Clyde miniseries, and she has the faraway look in her eyes needed for Delirium. She also showed that she can swing moods like a pendulum!
