Routers aren't my strong suit, but it sounds like there's something funk going 
on with yours. No connection should affect another; I have an Apple TV and my 
TV both wired into my router, and at least a half dozen other devices connected 
to wifi with no interference amongst them. We do a lot of video streaming 
(internet and local) too.
