Thought Violet was more 12-ish, but other than that I think you're dead on. Monsters U was better than Brave. Brave wasnt bad per se, it just didn't feel like a Pixar movie. They set up such a high standard with Toy Story, Bugs Life, Wall E, Up, Incredibles, and so on.
