Interesting idea, but it's not entirely new. A phone-drive laptop was made a 
couple years ago but wasn't very popular. The hurdle here is due to the device 
interface- touchscreen and desktop/laptop inputs are very different (just look 
at the problems Microsoft has had trying to force the same Windows 8 interface 
across all devices).
