OUTSTANDING LEGO DOOM DIORAMA

Hell never looked so good. Or blocky.

The result of three months of numb fingers, 15,000 LEGO bricks and an apparent
life-time dedicated to studying (or rather, playing) DOOM, this demon-filled
vision is the work of master builder Iain Heath.

>From the pixelated textures of the walls and floors, to the sinister grin of
>the Cacodemon, the details packed into Heath's two-metre long construction are
>nothing short of staggering. Four chaotic levels from the mother of all FPS
>appear in the diorama, complete with toxic slime, blood and ammo drops. It's
>made all the more impressive when you realise he built it without a single
>instruction manual.

Set to appear at Seattle's BrickCon in October and Emerald City's ComicCon in
March 2015, those of us unable to make the trip will just have to marvel at
Heath's work via his Flickr shots. And be sure to check out the 'fly-through'
video below.
