I just want to say that for those who may not like these shirts, for whatever reason, Pop Funk has a great selection of DC Comics shirts featuring many of their superheroines, including Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Hawkwoman, Zatanna, and so forth, and many of them feature really nice art by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez (Praise be his name). http://www.popfunk.com/comic-t-shirts.html They also have a really swanky looking "all around" Wonder Woman shirt featuring George Perez's cover from WW #1: http://www.popfunk.com/jla-no-1-cover-front-back-print.html Merry, you make a good point about Batman's wife being a legitimate choice of goal. Let me ask you a hypothetical question: does your take on Batman's wife help him int he field? Or is her role more in the public life of Bruce Wayne, further deflection from the identities of Batman, Robin, etc.? Or somewhere in the middle, like Alfred? Your statement of "socialite/artist wife" also made me think of the old chestnut that the perfect hostess should be gracious, glamorous, and a little mysterious. I picture in my head a story revolving around a masquerade/costume ball at Wayne Manor with a murder mystery quietly going on, with the guests none the wiser. Thank you for your comments.
