Curious as to what the designs would look like. Harmony Gold is very
protective of the Veritech design, to the point that they brought a suit
against Hasbro a couple of years back when Hasbro offered a SDCC-exclusive
version of Jetfire (who was a repainted Veritech fighter in G1
Transformers) which vaguely looked like the Veritech. Of course, I don't
remember hearing a peep out of them when Hasbro released the Thrilling 30
Jetfire, who looked a lot more like a Veritech than the exclusive did. So
would our Veritechs LOOK like Veritechs? Or would it be more like the
Michael Bay Transformers, a new design aesthetic?

In any event, I wouldn't mind an update of Robotech -- there was a
successful big screen live action adaption of Space Battleship Yamato
(known here in the US as Star Blazers) a few years back, so why not? And
the sequels are built in -- the Zentraadi in the first film, the Robotech
Masters in the second, and the Invid in the third.
