I wonder how the general comic book fan would react to a Bloodshot film which accurately adapts the source material. Harbinger, not so much because I think Harbinger is the kind of story which has a lot of elements which vocal comic book fans will support. But Bloodshot seems to be everything that the most vocal groups dislike. He's like the Punisher but without the tongue-in-cheek attitude which seems to have become part and parcel of that character in the modern context. He really is "the killing machine" who has suddenly discovered morality. Archer & Armstrong would seem to be the most obvious, "no-brainer" choice for a series of films or TV series. Buddy-buddy action story with a lot of humor -- some of it character based and some of it of the more "gross out" variety -- an army of bizarre badguys for them to fight, lots of connections to the rest of the VU, and a wide range of targets which get satirized mercilessly. Even their powers would work well on a budget -- Archer has a computer-like brain which makes him "good at everything" while Armstrong (Aram) is an immortal with super strength. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Unique Geek" group.
