I'm afraid I don't have any help for you at this point in time... but
I'm thinking I'd like to add multiple-index support, which should make
it easier to have different models for languages, and then hopefully
limit searches across a specific locale. I'll give it some thought,
but not sure when I'll have time to get it done.
