Should have read this before my last email on the topic :) From what I've read about attrpair, it's just a temporary hack in Sphinx, and not meant for use. It's for databases that use 64bit ints, but Sphinx needed to store them in two 32bit int attributes (ie: a pair). http://www.sphinxsearch.com/forum/view.html?id=890
