Hi Raj Unfortunately, Sphinx can only talk to databases and XML, and Thinking Sphinx only supports databases - MySQL and PostgreSQL (as discussed on other emails on the list today). So unless you get that file data into a database column, Thinking Sphinx is not going to be useful.
I'd recommend either loading that file data into a column, or looking into using Solr, Ferret or Xapian.
